Prayer requests – Tuesday, August 6

  • Please pray for Ed DeVange who has been ill. Please pray the Drs would have wisdom in improving his health before surgery. Surgery has not been scheduled at this time. Please pray for a successful outcome. 
  • Please keep Craig & Kristina's daughter, Abby, in your prayers. She has a heart monitor for one more week.  She will be given results after the monitor is returned. She has been diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis, a type of arthritic autoimmune disease. Her followup will be in October. Please pray for a treatment plan that lessens her pain and disability and gives her a better chance at living independently and having a job. Most importantly for her salvation, so she can have comfort in the Lord when she cannot find physical comfort here. All prayers are very much appreciated.  
  • Please pray for Pastor Bryan. His vision is a bit distorted at this time. He has an appointment with his retina specialist this Thursday. Thank you for your prayers!  
  • Please pray for Nancy Blaisdell. She had her appointment with her cardiologist last week. Please pray her Drs have a good plan to treat the aneurysm.  Also, prayers for all her family as they decide how best to proceed. Please pray for God's divine healing.
  • Please pray for Kim's friend, Elise, who lives in a nursing facility. Please pray she would be able to communicate somehow with her family and care givers. Thank you for all the prayers!
  • Please pray for Kim's friend, Tom, who has brain cancer and is under hospice care. Please pray his faith is strong and that his parents would seek his source of peace. Thank you for your prayers
  • Prayers are appreciated for Gus, the Cannon's former neighbor. He seems to be doing alright at this time. Please pray for continued health, comfort and energy.
  • Please pray for Mel and Mary Hinz, for happy conversations and good friends.  
  • Please pray for Phyllis Tilley's niece, Susan, who is paralyzed. She is preparing herself as well as she can for her daughters leaving for college in Miami on Thursday,  August 8. Please pray peace, comfort and emotional strength for Susan, and her family. Thank you!
  • Please pray for those who were missing last Sunday, they may have been not well, at work or traveling.
  • Please pray for the friends that previously attended WHC and have relocated.     
  • Please pray for salvation for Rick and Lyle, Rikki Hoenshelt's sons.
  • We are grateful for your devoted prayers of salvation, softened hearts and sound minds for Gabriel, Clay, Victoria & Larry, dear family of George & Vanessa Ott. 
  • Please pray for the clients at Teen Challenge. For those who arrive to feel hope, accept comfort and ultimately receive the gift of salvation. Please pray also for the staff & volunteers who help in the program. 
  • Please pray for the Believers in Israel as they process the loss of 12 children due to a rocket attack and for the IDF soldiers, as a multi-country war is imminent.
  • Please pray for the Faithful in Nigeriaa nation intolerant of any who believe in Jesus.
  • Please pray for the Followers of Christ who live in Afghanistan. 
  • Please pray for the Redeemed residing in China, who meet together despite the danger.  
  • Please pray for the Christians who live in Russia and Ukraine.
  • Please pray for the parents and children in our cities that are afraid and spiritually lost.
  • Please pray for those lacking a home, for clean water and food.
  • Please pray for our country and the people who are leading.  
  • Please pray for our missionaries, their families and their efforts to spread the Gospel.
  • The dedicated prayers of salvation for family of some in our church are appreciated.
  • Please pray we are setting apart time to spend in prayer with our Heavenly Father.
