- Laura De Ortiz in El Salvador: Please pray for continued health for the family. Please also pray for Hector, the new program director at La Fuente San Salvador.
*Update from Laura March 31, 2026:
Ministry is going well. The La Fuente program 2026 has been going for about a month now. (The academic year just started in February here). We have 18 new kids in San Salvador and 15 in Apopa. This year we also have the most high school students on scholarship that we’ve ever had- 8!
We’re also kicking off a crazy busy group season. We had two short term teams in March, and there’s basically a team every week from mid April till the end of August. Please be praying for lots of energy for the staff and that we can be a blessing to our teams.
On a personal note, pray for me and my little family. We had our 2nd baby last Tuesday and are deep in the sleepless trenches with just turned one year old and a one week old😅
We’re also continuing to wait on my husband Lex’s visa interview. April will make 17 months of waiting which we were told is average. We’re focusing on being patient and trusting God’s timing, and we would love prayer for this too.
- Randy and Jan Kent in France: Please continue to lift up the Kents in prayer for the 2026 year as they plan for upcoming projects and missions!
- Pray for Slavic and Vita Karpyuk in Dubno, Ukraine. You can find their quarterly newsletters at the "Events" table in our church courtyard.
- Pray for Tim and Chie Burns as they continue serving in Japan: Pray for a permanent building for their church, as they have outgrown their two previous places of worship (praise God!) and are currently worshiping in Nagoya's community center. Please also pray for Tim and Chie's family.
- Please keep the El Sauzal orphanage in San Antonio De Las Minas, Mexico your prayers: lift them up in prayer as they seek God's provision to meet their needs. Please also pray for an opportunity to send a team down to the orphanage sometime in the future, as we have sent teams down in the past.
